Hello I am Andie Wernick,
Being based in the beautiful Downtown Alma MI, Owner of Studio Nine Salon. I have worked in the beauty industry for over 12 years. Serving clients both in the salon and on location with hair cutting, custom color, extensions, professional makeup and many other beauty services. Freelance work has become one of my passions! Being able to make brides breathtaking on their big day, as well as accommodating other special occasions such as prom and school dances, senior photos, boudoir, maternity, or family photo sessions! Having and continuing to work with many Michigan photographers, I have developed an eye for detail while utilizing HD makeup and creating editorial looks that I believe will make any day special and the pictures flawless!
Education and growing as a Stylist I believe is very important. In my career I have completed in depth training with world renown company, Redken while achieving my haircolor and cutting specialist certification. Also, training and becoming certified with other amazing companies such as: Aqua Hair Extensions, Brazilian Blowout, Paul Mitchell, Pureology,
Jane Iredale Makeup. In my most recent endevours: training in the city of Chicago and Detriot with amazing celebrity Makeup Artist to Kim Kardashian: Mario Dedivanovic. I feel education opens up limitless options in knowing and testing hair and makeup boundaries, being able to give the client what they want as well as delivering what I know they'll LOVE!
